About Us

C.A.S.T. is a theater organization helping to preserve the arts in the greater Manchester area and beyond.  C.A.S.T. started as a small childrens' theater group run out of the home of its Co-Founder, Donna Mercier.  In the beginning, C.A.S.T. operated primarily during the summer, mounting musical productions out of Manchester High School's Bailey Auditorium.   However, since inception, C.A.S.T. has grown ten fold.

C.A.S.T., Inc. now operates out of its own facility on Summit Street in Manchester, CT.   C.A.S.T. has grown from a childrens' theater group doing summer musicals to a full scale theatre group offering year-round  productions and classes for children.  There is also a splinter group known as C.A.S.T. After Dark offering theater productions for teens and adults. C.A.S.T. is a nonprofit organization run by volunteers and all funds raised are used to maintain our program.
