ABOUT CAST
CAST is a theater organization helping to preserve the arts in the greater Manchester area and beyond. CAST started as a small children's theatre group, run out of the home of its Co-Founder, Donna Mercier. In the beginning, CAST operated primarily during the summer, mounting musical productions out of local schools. However, since inception, CAST has grown ten fold.
CAST, Inc. (dba CAST children's theatre) now operates out of its own facility on Summit Street in Manchester, CT. CAST has grown from a childrens' theater group doing summer musicals to a full scale theatre group offering year-round productions and classes for children.
CAST is a regional theatre with participants from over 15 communities ranging in ages 5 to 18.
We are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. Our Federal Tax ID number is 22-2906484.
CAST is currently in its 32nd season.

The mission of CAST is to enrich the lives of children through the magic of performing arts, thereby inspiring them to strive toward higher goals. We do this one line at a time, one show at a time, one child at a time.
