There's trouble in River City when a

fast-talking salesman gets his heart stolen by the town librarian in this adaptation of the Tony Award-winning Broadway classic.

Based on Meredith Willson's six-time-Tony-Award-winning musical comedy, The Music Man KIDS features some of musical theatre’s most iconic songs and a story filled with wit, warmth and good old-fashioned romance.  The Music Man KIDS is family entertainment at its best — a bold, brassy show that will have the whole town atwitter!

Master showman Harold Hill is in town and he’s got “seventy-six trombones” in tow. Can upright, uptight Marian, the town librarian, resist his powerful allure?  The story follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band he vows to organize. The catch? He doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, whose belief in Harold’s power just might help him succeed in the end in spite of himself.

Travel down the rabbit hole and join Alice, one of literature’s most beloved heroines, in her madcap adventures.  Featuring updated songs from Disney’s thrilling animated motion picture, Disney’s Alice in Wonderland JR. is a

fast-paced take on the classic tale.

The ever-curious Alice’s journey begins innocently enough as she chases the White Rabbit.  Her adventures become increasingly more strange as she races the Dodo Bird, gets tied up with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, raps with a bubble-blowing Caterpillar and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game!

“The Music Man KIDS” and “Disney’s Alice in Wonderland, JR.” are presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.  “We are Monsters" is presented through special arrangement with Beat By Beat Press.

CAST children’s theatre Standard of Conduct

We believe that theatre is fun and CAST strives to provide a welcoming place to explore all that theater has to offer. In order to maintain a safe, orderly and productive environment for all involved, we require that children follow the Standard of Conduct and display positive behavior in our programs.

Children are expected to arrive on time for classes, rehearsals, and performances, show respect to staff, volunteers, fellow participants, and property. This includes costumes, props and sets. Children should maintain attention and follow directions respectfully, without being disruptive or distracting.

Problematic behavior that affects classes, rehearsals or performances will be addressed immediately by staff. If the behavior continues, the staff reserves the right to remove the child(ren) from the program without refund.
