Renee Bishop has been involved with CAST as a parent for the past 5 years with her son Kyle as a participant and on the Board of Directors for 2 years. Renee is the Managing Real Estate and Eviction Attorney at Bendett & McHugh, PC. She has been practicing in the private sector of the legal field for over 23 years. Renee holds a B.A. in Political Science from Stonehill College where she graduated cum laude in 1993 and was J.D. Dean's List from Whittier School of Law in 1996 and was admitted to practice before the Connecticut Bar in 1996.
Renee is a member of REOMAC, a national non-profit trade association for the mortgage industry, a member of New England Land Title Association, and member and Former Chair of USFN Eviction and Real Estate / Bank Owned REO Committee, a not-for-profit national association of mortgage banking law firms. In her spare time, Renee enjoys travelling, spending quality time with family and friends, visiting art museums and historical sites, attending plays, musicals and performances, boating and fishing and is an active donor and supporter of Mount Snow Adaptive Sports, a volunteer-driven non-profit that provides ski instruction to individuals of all ages with any type of disability. She is a member of the Animal Welfare Institute and a donor and supporter of Make-A-Wish Foundation and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Renee has been a resident of Manchester for over 20 years where she resides with her husband, John, of 23 years, their 14 year old son, Kyle, and their 5 year old black labrador retriever, Cruiser.
